Brown to light blonde hair?

Im try to get my hair to a dark blonde color and i have medium brown hair reguarly. I wanted to know if there was a temporary dye i could use in case it doesnt work well. I have lightened my hair with 3% hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice so is there also a way i could lighten without bleaching? And please dont tell me to go to a salon im trying to find a cheaper way
