Should i quit before getting fired?

so due a issue at work involving gas points and stuff i will probably get fired on fired its a situation where chances are good ill have to pay a fine for a b.s thing that everyone did but ill probably get fired so the question is on friday when ipay it should i just reisgn or should i just get fired. im worried if i get fired no oe will hire me but if i resign i can say i wanted a change of scenery.
