Car idles erratically, randomly dies... cant figure it out?

My 2004 tiburon has been idling erratically... when starting, while driving when its in park... while driving it will randomly lurch forward, shifts very roughly and eventually dies but starts right back up. I've spent close to $500 in diagnostics, still can't figure it out... any suggestions are much appreciated...
