I think that you should give him a shot, Be firends you don't need to be best friends. Sometimes when you see too much of someone you start to getted upset with eachother really easy. So I'de say give him a shot and if it doesn't work out then it doesn't work out, if it does then hey, building up a relationship that could e strong in the future :) Hope this helped
